5th SingMalNet - Singapore Malaria Network Meeting

20 - 21 Feb 2020
Singapore

This meeting intends to foster new ideas and concepts by bringing together scientists working in multiple aspects of  malaria. These areas include clinical and epidemiological research, as well as in vitro laboratory studies of the human pathogens P. falciparum and P. vivax. Other model organisms including the rodent and nonhuman primate Plasmodia will also be featured. According to the three previous successful occasions, the SingMalNet meeting provides a great opportunity for young up-and-coming scientists to meet established global experts in multiple disciplines of malaria research.

SingMalNet2020 will spotlight current topics in malaria research combining urgent issues pertaining to malaria control, such as drug and vaccine discovery, pathogenesis and epidemiology, with basic research areas of genomics, and molecular and cellular biology of the malaria pathogen Plasmodium.
