Compliance and Adherence to Plasmodium vivax Radical curE in the private Sector (CARES)

Primary Objective:

• To generate operational evidence that will inform access to best practices for P.vivax case management with G6PD testing and radical cure drugs in the private health care sector.

Secondary Objectives:

• To assess the ability of private health care providers to provide safe radical cure to patients (adequate monitoring and follow-up of individual patients);
• To assess the ability of private health care facilities to provide adequate pharmacovigilance (adequate monitoring/documentation of adverse events (AE) and reporting to National Coordination Center for Pharmacovigilance Programme of India); 
• To explore barriers and facilitators at the patient level that mediate access to safe radical cure.
