G6PD guided radical treatment of Plasmodium vivax using primaquine

Aims and objectives

1. To assess the prevalence of G6PD deficiency in Kayin State, Myanmar;
2. To assess the operational feasibility of G6PD testing and radical cure of P. vivax malaria using primaquine;
3. To assess the speed of P. vivax elimination by radical cure treatment intervention.
