A clinical study of falciparum and vivax malaria in Vietnam servicemen.

With the increase in worldwide commitments, malaria has assumed a new importance in American medicine. In Viet Nam, thousands of Americans are being exposed to the parasite. The present report presents a prospective study of the clinical features, laboratory data and therapeutic response of American servicemen during initial attacks of falciparum and vivax malaria.
