PLASMODIUM VIVAX MALARIA is a protean disease. Signs and symptoms mimicking those of acute and chronic diseases involving the liver, spleen, kidneys, blood, gastrointestinal tract, brain and respiratory system have been reported.5 In the present case, anemia, hepatomegaly, cardiomegaly and renal abnormalities were present.
