Studies in human malaria; the protective and therapeutic action of SN 6771 against St. Elizabeth strain vivax malaria.

Among the compounds given clinical trail by the Board of Coordination for Malarial Studies was SN 6771. Although the compounds did not prove either prophylactic or curative in sporozoite-induced vivax malaria, the results of the tests will be presented because of the confirmation of antimalarial activity in an unfamiliar group of compounds and because the results form part of the documentation of the St. Elizabeth strain of Plasmodium vivax.
