E-2020 initiative
In 2016, WHO identified 21 countries as having the potential to achieve zero indigenous cases of malaria by 2020. Known as the E-2020 initiative, WHO is supporting these 21 countries as they scale up efforts to attain elimination within the 2020 timeline.
