APMEN Vector surveillance event

Dear APMEN partners Vector Control colleague,

The APMEN Vector Control Working Group cordially invites you to participate in our next webinar "Vector Surveillance: Why it matters and the status and capacity of NMCP's to conduct such surveillance". The webinar is scheduled for 14:00 Singapore time on Thursday 28th January (next week). You can register at https://tiny.cc/APMENTechTalks_Jan28

The webinar will have three presentations, one each by Prof Tom Burkot, Dr Tanya Russel, and Dr Robert Farlow. Dr Pradeep Srivastava will also be on the panel for comment and questions. Please see the attached information sheet for more detail. Much of the webinar will be based on survey findings provided by National Malaria Control Programmes on the challenges and capacity issues they face.

We want to ask as many of our vector control colleagues to attend as possible. We want you to listen to the presentations, and then let us know the TOP THREE VECTOR CONTROL TRAINING NEEDS that you or your programme needs to improve your ability to conduct vector surveillance and response. We will prompt you by email for your suggestions during webinar, but please attend the webinar first. Your answers will help APMEN to develop training courses that best fit your needs.
